I MARDAN: In a sorrowful turn of events, a Pakistan Air Force (PAF) training aircraft cr@shed near Mardan during a routine training flight on Monday. According to the official statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), both pilots on board embraced martyrdom.

The Incident The aircraft was on a routine training mission when it encountered a technical mishap (investigations are currently underway to determine the exact cause). Emergency response teams and security forces immediately rushed to the crash site to secure the area and initiate recovery operations.

Official Statement The military's media wing, ISPR, expressed deep grief over the tragic loss of the two young pilots. "Both pilots embraced Shahadat in the line of duty. No loss of life or property was reported on the ground," the statement noted. A board of inquiry has been ordered by the Air Headquarters to investigate the cause of the accident.
